Khandro Kelly

khandrokelly

In 1998, after completing an extensive training program and apprenticing with Event founder Purna Steinitz, Khandro Kelly became the first woman certified to lead The Event. She participated in The Event for the first time in 1995. Inspired by this work, she immediately began working for The Event organization. Over time she’s attended numerous trainings and held different roles, including Enrollment Director and Program Director. In the years since, Khandro has led The Event for women only and women and men in the United States and Germany, becoming the primary Event trainer in Germany.

Part of her indelible contribution to the fabric of The Event is a sense of femininity that brings magic, unpredictability, joy and creativity into the training. At the same time, Khandro’s background of being raised on military bases around the world and her innate understanding of people gives her a keen awareness and sensitivity to all different kinds of people.

Since 1999, Khandro has worked with New Line Consulting as a consultant, facilitating individuals and teams in strategic planning, team building and leadership training. She has also worked with prison educators to better communicate with and rehabilitate inmates. She is glad to return to her roots and lead The Event in the U.S. once again. Khandro holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado and lives in Bozeman, Montana.

“Khandro is a magician – she has a gift for completely non-linear ideas that always hit the mark in creating possibilities for real transformation. She has made a deep impact those she’s trained to lead and The Event work that continues in Europe today.”
– D. Stolla, Event Trainer in Germany.
